Day 17 - Broom

The broom on my back porch with a bit of "Dave Hill" type treatment. The shadows are from the baker's rack it's leaning against. Not sure I like it, but there you have it. ;)

  1. I love this one! The shadows, and the textures, and everything about it! It gives almost a deserted feel to the picture - kind of lonely and cold, but it's contradicted by the splash of sun on the broom.

  2. Oh I like it very much! It looks like it could be a painting...and the shadows are interesting too.

  3. I like it and I like the shadows and texture. Not sure I can notice any particular post-processing though. Great composition.

  4. Yes I like this too. It has a real "down to earth" feel about it. I'm glad you included the leaves.

  5. Don't know this Dave hill bloke, but I love this.
It's down to earth and very homely - all the lovely textures add such interest and glamour to the old broom (joking.)

  7. I love the composition and colors giving a rustic atmosphere in the scene.
The leaves fell off the beauty of the image. And to our delight, the projection of a mysterious shadow over the elements ... It would be a grade of iron twisted?
Congratulations on this most wonderful work!

  8. I like this a lot, had you tried it in black and white? It's has a gritty feel and would do nicely for a grunge picture.

  9. I like this.
It's a great idea and excellent composition. I think it's a tiny bit under-lit but other than that it's really good.
