(and Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, a.k.a. ELCA)
I had to pano this one, or all you'd see is a thin horizontal line in between sky and pavement. I was standing about 100 feet from the front doors of the building and stitched 7 shots together to get this image. After stitching, I put a curves adjustment on the pavement to make it darker (I like asphalt to be black).

I shake my head in amazement at how many churches you have near you. This one looks massive and it would be ture to say that I don't think I've ever been inside a church that size!!
ReplyDeleteI'm also amazed by the number and size of the churches in your vicinity. I missed a few days of commenting over the weekend, but rest assured I've looked at, and admired, your recent churches! This panorama is just terrific!
ReplyDeleteWow, that really is an Uber-Church! Amazing stuff. What a huge place to take so many people on one day! Are there many services or are they all at once?
ReplyDeleteThat's a fabulous panoramic though! Marvellous stitching work and a very interesting subject!
Man, what a cool picture. I've never tried to stitch photos together, but I image it takes a bit of skill, yours is seamless. :)
ReplyDeleteSeven photos in one. WOW! Absolutely stunning. I'm really loving this series Cap. And so is my mother in law. :-)
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are so beautiful, like postcards, really exceptional postcards. You are a great ambassador of the beauty of these buildings.
ReplyDeleteExcellent panorama cap, love it!
ReplyDeleteWonderful technique! One of the few stitching types I've not done :D
